Our Story

(Formerly Natalie Teare Bespoke Jewellery)

At Wallis Taylor Jewellery, we specialise in bespoke jewellery, designing and creating pieces that are as unique and special as the person wearing them. Everyone deserves good jewellery and that is why we pride ourselves on setting your love stories in stone.

Wallis Taylor Jewellery is founded and creatively driven by Natalie Heywood (Teare) BA Hons FGA DGA. Natalie is an experienced jewellery professional who has worked in the bespoke sector for the last 25 years, having worked at the fine houses of Cartier, Garrard and Theo Fennell. In 2025 Natalie was named as one of the F:Entrepreneurs top 100 female entrepreneurs. Working alongside Natalie are a team of London-based specialised craftsmen who work to the highest standard of quality.

All bespoke jewellery pieces start with a face-to-face design consultation, this is a process of sharing and learning about you that ensures the finished jewellery is covetable and timeless. Designs are then hand-painted and suitable stones are sourced through Natalie’s extensive network of suppliers. The jewellery is made by specialist craftsmen in our central London workshop to a high standard of quality.

Wallis Taylor Jewellery, the name inspired by the icons Wallis Simpson and Elizabeth Taylor — both of whom had an impeccable taste in jewellery and possessed two of the most envied collections ever — is intent on creating pieces that are unique, stylish, charismatic, bold, and emotionally rooted. And, much like the women themselves, we seek to tell a story with our pieces, weaving character, sentiment, colour and style into all our designs.

Wallis Taylor Bespoke Jewellery is CPD certified for Business Sustainability.

  • What’s in a name? 🤔

Wallis Taylor Jewellery (formerly Natalie Teare) is derived from the icons Wallis Simpson and Elizabeth Taylor — two unforgettable women with impeccable taste in jewellery, and holders of two of the most envied jewellery collections in history. They say the diamond grading scale starts at D because Elizabeth Taylor had all the As, Bs and Cs! 💎

These colourful and unapologetic characters echo many of the characteristics and style we weave into our commissions when designing — elegant, bold, unique and emotionally rooted. As revered collectors and style icons, the Duchess and Elizabeth have provided a constant source of inspiration to our work and approach. It, therefore, comes as no surprise that their names combined would make the perfect company name to take our brand forward 🫶.

  • A ‘Yes!’ is surely guaranteed with a beautiful engagement ring commission like this. Emmerdale actor, @jackwparr came to us with a very important question in mind for his beautiful girlfriend @melanieannehaynes 🫶, and together we created this gorgeous sapphire and diamond engagement ring 💍.

It was such a pleasure to go on this creative journey with Jack — we explored lots of options, but just like the engagement itself, you know when you know, and we’re so pleased he went with this.

🎉 Huge congratulations to Jack Parr and Melanie Haynes! 🎉 What an honour it has been to be part of your beautiful journey ❤️

  • Whether your commission is already emotionally rooted or your intention is to make it that, understanding and capturing that story is at the heart of what we do at Wallis Taylor Jewellery (formerly Natalie Teare).

It all starts with a conversation — and meeting this client and hearing her story was an absolute pleasure 🫶.

The client had an existing ring that belonged to her much-loved late grandmother. Having listened to stories about this wonderful lady and their relationship, the client revealed that she had often seen a ladybird whenever she thought of her. It was clear, the commission had to involve one somewhere 🐞.

The finished piece is stunning and so sentimental: a contemporary ring that compliments her existing jewellery but retains the stones and gold from the original, and all the sentiment that comes with it…with a hidden ladybird on the inside.

18ct white gold, sapphires and diamonds (with a ruby ladybird 🐞, of course).

After nearly 15 years in existence, it's been clear that our business has evolved and it is no longer a one-woman show. Therefore, it seemed the perfect opportunity to redefine the brand, its identity and honour the working harmony that is all the specialists we work with and all the expertise we draw from.

Still at the helm and creatively driven by experienced gemmologist Natalie Heywood, Wallis Taylor Jewellery will continue to specialise in bespoke jewellery, designing and creating pieces that are as unique and special as the person wearing them.
